Morten Stobbe is a district heating expert with 30+ years of experience in energy systems, utility leadership, and large-scale heat storage and electrification solutions.
I have worked in energy and district heating for more than 30 years and hold an M.Sc. in Energy Planning from the University of Aalborg. For more than 20 years, I have worked in senior executive positions at large-scale DH companies/utilities (HOFOR and VEKS).
I am very engaged in developing DH solutions that are more flexible and resilient, thereby providing an attractive solution. In VEKS I was a.o. deeply involved in introducing large-scale thermal pit storage into the Copenhagen DH system.
Since January 2025, I have held the position of CEO International at Ingeniør Huse A/S. Here, I focus on large-scale heat pumps, electric boilers, and heat storage solutions, both in a Danish context and with an international perspective. Furthermore, I am a member of the DBDH Board.
