Frese A/S has appointed Peter Agneborn as its new Managing Director, effective 10 March 2025, following the departure of René Barington after 13 years in the role. This transition marks a new chapter for Frese A/S after its recent acquisition by Finnish Vexve OY on 31 January 2025.

Peter Agneborn, formerly CCO of Frese A/S, assumes leadership at a pivotal time. In 2024, the company recorded its best-ever financial results, achieving 16% growth and more than 100% increase in pre-tax profit compared to 2023.
René Barington will continue contributing to Frese A/S as a board member while remaining CEO of Frese Holding ApS, Frese Ejendomme ApS, and Frese Metal- og Stålstøberi A/S. Reflecting on his tenure, he states:
“Leading Frese A/S has been a great privilege. I am particularly grateful for the collaboration with the board and employees and proud of the results we have achieved together. Now is the right time to pass the baton to new leadership, which, together with Vexve, can take the company to the next level.”
Peter Agneborn expressed enthusiasm for the role:
