DBDH will host a high-level delegation from Ulaanbaatar District Heating (UBDH), Mongolia, for an incoming study tour to Denmark focused on district heating development, utility management, and the green energy transition.
The visit will provide participants with first-hand insights into Danish district heating solutions, operational practices, energy-efficiency measures, digitalisation, and the integration of modern technologies.
Focus of the study tour
During the programme, the delegation will meet Danish utilities, technology suppliers, and sector experts to learn from Danish experience with the planning, operation, and management of efficient district heating systems.
The study tour will include visits to leading Danish companies and organizations across the district heating value chain, combined with discussions on:
- Utility governance
- Financial and operational performance
- Customer relations
- Strategic development
- Energy efficiency
- Digitalization and system optimization
- Modernization of district heating infrastructure
Supporting district heating development in Ulaanbaatar
The visit is financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) as part of its support for the modernisation and future development of district heating in Ulaanbaatar.
