March 25 – March 27
We invite you to meet the business partners from Ukraine during the Ukrainian District Heating delegation visit to Denmark in March!
The hostilities in Ukraine are still ongoing, and many Danish companies would like to be a part of the assistance and rebuilding process. Especially with sustainable and long-lasting solutions.
Why to join
DBDH and the Danish Embassy in Kyiv are organizing a delegation tour for 16 key decision-makers from Ukrainian cities planning district heating modernization and rebuilding projects. The tour aims to showcase Denmark’s cutting-edge district heating technologies and know-how, enabling a seamless green transition and conversion from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources.
In collaboration with participating Danish companies, the organizers will select 8-10 Ukrainian cities, inviting representatives from both city councils and district heating companies to join the program.
This is your opportunity to establish direct connections with key stakeholders in Ukraine’s district heating sector, who are driving recovery and modernization initiatives. Ukraine’s rebuilding will span several years—start engaging with Ukrainian cities now to position your company for future opportunities in this growing market.
The tour will focus on:
- Conversion from fossil fuels to RES
- Long-term strategy, project planning and design
- System integration and storage
- Power to heat technologies
- Surplus heat
- Renewables (e.g. biomass, solar, heat pumps, geothermal)
- Waste to Energy
- Showcasing visits to the plants
The aim is to showcase and promote your technologies and solutions in the best possible surroundings – at the Danish utilities where they are in use.
Program
The visit will start with a seminar and B2B Workshop with focus on 4-5 most relevant DH themes, B2B meetings, networking and knowledge sharing with the Ukrainian delegation.
The delegates from the Ukrainian utilities will present their plans for modernization and development in their district heating plants and how they see possibilities for cooperation with Danish companies. We will arrange a B2B Workshop where you can present your company solutions to the Ukrainian participants.
