Meet your potential business partners from Poland when a District Heating delegation from Poland visits Denmark in June!
Poland is in the process of accelerating the energy transformation process and enabling the implementation of new investments that would help to build energy security and independence. The Polish district heating sector is an important element in this process.
District heating is a source of heating for millions of households located mainly in urban areas. Almost 6 million households in Poland, out of a total of approx. 14 million use district heating.
DBDH and the Danish Embassy in Warsaw cooperate closely with our Polish partner, the District Heating Association, IGCP. We expect a delegation of approx. 20-25 business people and decision-makers who want to learn more about the technologies and know-how behind the Danish district heating system and are committed to applying the best available technologies in their district heating systems in Poland. During the tour in Denmark, the delegation will get acquainted with the efficient system solutions within our sector. By participating, you will get a direct connection to the stakeholders in the Polish DH sector who are responsible for their district heating investments. These potential customers are direct access to expand Danish district heating export opportunities to Poland.
The tour will focus on:
– Optimization of district heating systems system ( integration, storage, flue gas cleaning, cooling)
– Power to heat technologies
– Surplus heat
– Renewables (e.g., biomass, solar, heat pumps, geothermal)
– Waste to Energy
– Heat intelligence
– Practical examples – visits to plants
The aim is to showcase and promote your technologies and solutions in the best possible surroundings – at the Danish utilities where they are in use.
Preliminary Program
The visit will kick off at a “District Heating Seminar”. The seminar will focus on the exchange of knowledge, technology solutions, and business opportunities.
Polish delegates from utilities will share plans for modernization and development in their district heating plants and how they see possibilities for cooperation with Danish companies. Danish delegates will present projects, background and results to show how Danish technologies and know-how can solve existing technical problems, raise efficiency and have sustainable heat production and transmission. This will also be a great opportunity to network with the delegation.
