Online | Social Sustainability and DH in Canada | Webinar

June 20, 2024 @ 5:00 pm 5:45 pm

District heating (DH) plays an integral part in the sustainable transition of cities. As a cost-effective and zero-carbon solution, DH already scores high on sustainability, but district heating and cooling can also contribute to social sustainability.

Join this webinar to get insights and discussions on social sustainability as part of the business case for district heating. Canada is looking for a sustainable future for its cities. That includes district heating and cooling, but what are the drivers behind this transition, and how can different types of sustainability be integrated – with special focus on the social dimensions?

The webinar is organised by the “Can a sustainable DH business model be decisive for future competitiveness?” project funded by IEA-DHC (Annex XIV project 07).
