Moldova | District Heating in Moldova | Study Tour

November 18 November 19

Would you like to join us on November 18 and 19 at the district heating event in Chisinau, Moldova, exploring the significant opportunities emerging in Moldova’s district heating sector?

This event is being organized by DBDH in collaboration with the Royal Danish Embassies in Chisinau & Bucharest.
Why should you participate? As an EU candidate country, Moldova is committed to increasing energy independence and accelerating its green transition. With EUR 232 million in current international funding, and another EUR 326 million available, the market is actively seeking innovative and sustainable solutions.
Chișinău and Bălți, Moldova’s two largest municipalities, account for 99% of the country’s district heating consumption. Their main operators, Termoelectrica in Chișinău and CET-Nord in Bălți serve around 500.000 and 33.000 consumers, respectively. Currently they are implementing large-scale modernization projects with international financing. Several tenders are already open, with more opportunities to follow in the months ahead.
Hence, this is an excellent time to engage and be part of this exciting development!
We shall arrange an on-line meeting on September 9, 11 am (DK time) with Ambassador Søren Jensen, Danish Embassy in Moldova and Razvan Stroe, Danish Embassy in Bucharest. During this meeting you will learn more about the opportunities in Moldova.
Who will you meet? This two-day event will bring together decision-makers and technical experts from prominent district heating companies in Moldova. High-ranking government officials, representatives from financial institutions and from potential Moldovan partners will also be in attendance. Collaboration with Danish companies possessing expertise and advanced technologies holds great potential for Moldova’s district
heating sector. The event aims to facilitate collaboration between Moldovan and Danish stakeholders, opening new opportunities for all involved parties.
