Supporting Ukraine’s Rebuilding: Ukrainian delegation visits Denmark
In a dedicated effort to support Ukraine’s rebuilding process, a delegation of 16 decision-makers from the 10 largest Ukrainian cities will visit Denmark from 11-13 June 2024. This tour, organized by DBDH and the Danish Embassy in Kyiv, aims to showcase Denmark’s advanced district heating technologies for sustainable urban development.
With 90% of Ukraine’s heat generation infrastructure currently destroyed, the delegation seeks to explore district heating solutions that address immediate needs and ensure long-term resilience. The program includes seminars, workshops, and site visits to Danish utilities, providing a comprehensive overview of innovative heating solutions.
Participating companies will have the unique opportunity to engage directly with Ukrainian stakeholders involved in district heating reconstruction projects. This tour underscores Denmark’s commitment to supporting Ukraine’s rebuilding efforts and fostering collaboration in the energy sector.
