March 12, 2024 – March 13, 2024
A delegation comprising 15-20 individuals from German Stadtwerke and energy planning offices in the cities of Nordrein-Westfalen will embark on a 2-day study tour in Denmark. This collaborative event is organized by Energy4Climate in NRW, the Danish Embassy in Germany, and DBDH.
The study tour aims to explore various topics that can serve as inspiration for German Stadtwerke to enhance efficiency and transition away from gas dependency. It will include scheduled visits to Danish district heating companies that have successfully implemented new control systems, enabling them to reduce temperatures in their heating systems. This, in turn, enhances their capacity to harness waste energy and renewable energy sources.
Additionally, a workshop will be conducted to facilitate discussions among participants on strategies for implementing these technologies in Germany.
