Meet your potential business partners from Poland when a District Heating delegation from Poland is visiting Denmark in June.
In June, a delegation of about twenty business people and decision-makers who want to learn more about the technologies and know-how behind the Danish district heating system will visit Denmark.

All About the Event
DBDH and the Danish Embassy in Warsaw cooperate closely with our Polish partner, the District Heating Association, IGCP. We expect a delegation of approx. 20 businesspeople and decision makers who want to learn more about the technologies and know-how behind the Danish district heating system and are committed to applying the best available technologies in their district heating systems in Poland. The list of invitees will include representatives of both state-owned heat producers (PGE, Orlen, Tauron) and small and medium-sized municipal companies.
During the tou r in Denmark, the delegation will get acquainted with the efficient system solutions within our sector. By participating, you will get a direct connection to the stakeholders in the Polish DH sector who are responsible for their district heating investments. These potential customers are the direct access to expand Danish district heating export opportunities to Poland.
The tour will focus on:
- Decarbonization of district heating
- Digitalization of district heating
- Optimization of district heating systems (integration, storage, flue gas cleaning, cooling)
- Power to heat technologies
- Surplus heat
- Renewables (e.g. biomass, solar, heat pumps, geothermal)
- Waste to Energy
- Heat intelligence
- Practical examples – visits to plants
The aim is to showcase and promote your technologies and solutions in the best possible surroundings – at the Danish utilities where they are in use.
Preliminary Program
The visit will kick off with a B2B Workshop with a focus on the 4-5 most relevant DH themes, B2B meetings, networking, and knowledge sharing with the Polish delegation. Polish delegates from utilities will share plans for modernization and development in their district heating plants and how they see possibilities for cooperation with Danish companies. This will also be a great opportunity to network with the delegation.
