For the 4th time DBDH together with several organizations in Belgium organize the workshop on district heating in Antwerp. Heat represents around 50% of total energy consumption in Europe. The strong emphasis on reducing emissions and to be independent on importing gas and oil puts district heating into action all over Europe.
The conference focus on learnings from Europe on how to develop district heating as fast and large as possible. The topics will cover innovative heat sources, governance instruments, heat plans, lessons learned, and the role of ICT/digitization and AI. There are expected to be more than 200 participants in the workshops representing the whole value chain of stakeholders and politicians.
