Business Development Director, District Energy in Grundfos
“For more than 20 years, I have been working in business development and have tried to innovate to make a difference. I enjoy bridging new technology and business and working with people to make an impact.
For the previous 14 years, I have been working in Grundfos, where my current focus is district energy and data centers with a distinct focus on reducing carbon emissions.
I truly believe that district energy will become the backbone of a cost-effective green energy transition since it holds the opportunity to balance energy demand and supply across sectors, where, e.g., excessive electricity, industrial waste heat, and green energy sources like geothermal can be picked up, stored in water and used when needed in district energy. A key to this is to lower temperatures in district heating in order to reduce heat losses and effectively utilize more renewable and waste heat energy sources.”
