Also “Cold Hawaii” needs district heating

“Cold Hawaii” is a surfer paradise in Klitmøller at the northern coast of Jutland, Denmark.

After a day outside and on the waves of the North Sea, a warm and cosy home is needed. In future the heat based on renewable energy will come from Thisted District Heating in a 16 km transmission line delivered by LOGSTOR.

The main challenges were minimum of heat loss throughout the service life time of the pipe system, low total cost of ownership and fast delivery time. The challenges were secured with a mix of TwinPipe and single pipe.
