Alaskan tours a Denmark district heating plant

Tour district heating plant powered by a Lin-ka one megawatt wood chip boiler. This system was installed in 2016 to a replace a adjacent natural gas system to save money. The system is fed by a automated bucket crane. Do to exhaust standards the flew gases feed through a particulate silo, bag house and precipitator before going out the stack. The plant cost ap. 1.2 million dollars. District heating is a common type of community heat used in Denmark. These systems use hot water vs. steam and can heat buildings miles from the plant.
