9 VIDEOS ON THE WATERWARMTH PILOT PROJECTS

We test and demonstrate aquathermal energy (AE) solutions across various water environments – seas, lakes, and rivers – to explore their full potential in sustainable heating.

Through six small-scale pilots, we collect valuable data that will strengthen future AE projects and enable replication on a larger scale.

In addition, four large-scale demonstration sites are developing action plans for cooperative AE-based heating systems that can be integrated into decentralised, smart energy networks.

Each pilot contributes practical experience, helping refine technologies, optimise performance, and accelerate the broader adoption of aquathermal energy across Europe.
